i know why battered women never leave. they think, this is all i have to look forward to. more of this, why go through all the trouble of escaping when i'm going to end up right back here in a different way? at least this man knows how i sleep, how i like my coffee, what time i wake up, what i like to do. better abuse here, a place i know, than somewhere new.
