So long, continued gender and racial progress. I really feel the need to write a silly LiveJournal entry about this…
First of all, who actually voted on Tuesday? If you did, then you’re awesome!! Regardless of whom you voted for, I respect you for voting. If you didn’t vote, then you suck!! I don’t want to hear anything from you about our State or anything to do with politics if you didn’t even try to make a difference. For the most part, I was pleased about the election results, but something is just making me feel extremely depressed: Proposal 2. I really don’t know how people voted YES on it. It makes me feel ill knowing that the only organized group that publicly supported it was the KKK. Oh well, I won’t say anything more about that since we, educated people, have heard enough about it. Also, how do people have the nerve to yell at you for who you voted for when they didn’t even vote, LOL? That soooo does not make sense, but whatever.
