Do mine eyes deceive me? Has
cotton-ease finally returned to us?
Life at home with my family goes as expected. My brother tries to act all butch and beat on me, my sister picks fights over cat treatment, my dad is always gone on his bike rides, and my mom works and complains that the house is dirty.
Nothing ever changes, I guess.
I finished my cabled sweater a while ago, I was just too lazy to post about it.
Pattern: Winding Down, Vogue Knitting Issue Winter 2001
Note: Edited pattern slightly: Changed ribbing so it was only three inches instead of ten, and lengthened the entire sweater by 4 inches. I also changed the collar so its a simply crew neck instead of the ribbed turtleneck of doom the pattern called for.
Materials: 12.5 balls
Swish Superwash from Knitpicks in color 'Aloe'
My
Something Red proceeds apace... I've nearly got the three inches of ribbing I need before I work the increase row.
Materials: Cotton-ease in Cherry Red
I've also started a pair of socks for someone...I'm sure everyone can probably guess who...
Materials: Random sock yarn I got from yarnworks...I've already lost the ball band.
I'd have more done, but I've been working on something else for quite a while. The yarn harlot is my hero.

I think I'll go back to playing Elite Beat Agents on my sisters new DS....
