I raced in the Piche's Invitational Race today, and placed first! There were people from nine different states... It was pretty hott! New Hampshire won best state team too! You learn something new everyday, and today I leaned not to mess around with Pennsylvanians...

This is how it allll started. We originally were joking around with New Jersey... and then Eric M. said, "Pennsylvania has some really good kids!", and Chelsea replied, "Yeah they do... I was suprised!". Pretty harmless, huh? Well, next thing we know, this crazy lady comes up to us, and says, "Why do you think you're so fucking good, you don't even know a fuck about the PA team." She said something else to Eric later that I didn't hear. And I'm glad. But that's not all. Later, one of the guy coaches from PA comes up to Eric, puts his finger on his chest, and says, "What do you think you're doing talking trash about the PA team? Have you been doing it, because that's what I've heard," and he walked away. He didn't even try to talk it out with Eric, which would have been the logical thing to do.

So, the next thing that happened was this.
Crazy Lady: Where are you from?
Chelsea: New Hampshire
Crazy Lady: Oh, that's what I figured... What time did you get?
Chelsea: I didn't race yet.
Crazy Lady: Well. What makes you think that you're so much better than everyone else, huh?
Chelsea: I didn't say anything!
Crazy Lady: I don't have time for this.
(Did I mention PA LOST the race while New Hampshire WON?)

I am officially afraid of Pennsylvania. Tomorrow I'm going to Wildcat with the DHS ski team, hopefully we won't run into any Pennsylvanians. Holy Crap, what a day.

I came back to the barn last week on Tuesday to find my horse with a pulled stifle. I worked her easy for about a week, and decided to work her hard on Friday. Still lame. We're NEVER going to be ready for the Novice champs this year. She's out of shape from hunter riders riding her for me while I ski, and now she pulled her stifle. Great. The spring UNH event is coming up, and we're nowhere near where we should be as far as conditioning goes. The chiropractor is coming this week (don't laugh, anyone who doesn't know anything about horses) and that should help her out a little, because her back seemed sore from stall rest. I'm checking on her Monday, hopefully she'll be better.

Alright, I'm out.
