The fact that Jesus was alive at one point is beyond dispute.
History dictates, with considerable proof, that a man named Jesus did in fact come from Nazareth,
and that he did, in fact, have a family, with Mary and Joeseph as his parents.
His existance is beyond dispute, and no respected scholar has studied in the field and come away with the conclusion that Jesus was a figment of the imagination of thousands of people.
The debate is really.. Was Jesus out of his mind? Or was he really the Messiah?
Is he the Son of Man, or is he a blasphemer?
Was Jesus a mere prophet? Or did he misinterpret the Word?
Did Jesus know he was forming a seperate religion? Would he be spinning in his grave by the legendary status he has achieved?
