Some Faraway Place by Lauren Shippen was great. It's the third and final tome of the Bright Sessions novels. They're based on a podcast about superpowered people going to therapy, but I don't listen to it. You can definitely read the books on their own.
Book 3 focuses on new characters, but also crosses over with the leads of Books 1 and 2. I actually could have done with less Damien, because the plot was getting a bit repetitive.
