Reese's Puffs and morning thoughts

Aug 30, 2004 09:42

First of all, starting your day with Reese's Puffs cereal is perhaps one of the BEST ways to do so.

This past Sunday I spoke with my father and decided that Sept. 8th is the best time for him to come and help me move back to south florida, so folks, that's when I'm leaving.

So I'm thinking, big gathering at Mori's or some other fun restaurant that's not cheap, but not horrifically overpriced, sometime labor day weekend. Maybe saturday night. Call me if you love me and want to see me once more before I leave Tallahassee.

Now for the deeper morning thoughts:

As I approached Wal-Mart this morning, I saw an old man talking to a little girl who was with her mother. Listening to the conversation (which was quite loud, not like I was eavesdropping) I began to think of what I would be like if I ever lived long enough to be old. Generally, old people have stories from "back in the day" and "when I was your age". What would I tell my grandkids or some random youngster?
I then realized that I needed to do something with my life NOW. I want to tell those kids great things. I didn't want to be some old guy who was a loser. Hell, I don't want to be a loser, period. So, I've formulated a PLAN (ooooo, what is it?):

Plan A:
1)Start making music. Not just one type of music, but SEVERAL types.
2)Eat more Reese's Puffs for breakfast. Man these things are great.
3)Start training with my old sifu (teacher). I need to be in shape, both mind AND body.
4)Not let anything interfere with this. ANYTHING.
5)MAKE MUSIC 24-7, except on Jewish Holidays of course.
6)Make a ton of money in royalties from my music, donate some to Chabad, and then build my dream house.

Hopefully in a few years, the world will know my name and my music.

Plan B? Plan B is to figure out what went wrong in Plan A and restart. THERE IS NO PLAN B.
