Back from ennui
It's been almost a year since my last public entry. So much has happened in between. I'm almost a year at work. I broke up with my longtime boyfriend and am in a new relationship now. Got my own apartment. My grandmother died. Abandoned writing - until now.
I had consigned my fanfiction to the dumpster of sad, trivial memories until last week, when I received a message from a young writer on FF.Net requesting beta-reading. From me! Imagine that. I totally forgot I had signed myself up as a provider of such service. This innocent message stirred the fire of creative longing in me. I finished editing her chapter and now am currently reviewing my unfinished stories for several communities I'm a member of. Suffice it to say I've been kicked out of all except my own, 10settings. Lame. But it doesn't bother me. Now I know what i have to do, and that's to write and join more communities and pray this doesn't work reverse psychology on me.
