even though its been a week, i must update on the amazing road trip and concert events that took place last weekend. twas the best road trip ever. started out driving to san fran last thurs to see nin that night, the show was great, although, compared to the reno show and because we had NOSE BLEED seats, it wasn't as good.... but we expected this.... so it was on to vegas to see nin yet again. they played the joint in the hard rock. first off, FUCK THE HARD ROCK HOTEL..... and now that is out of the way, BEST NIN SHOW EVER. we waited in the blistering sun for 11 and half hours to get front row. let me explain the waiting outside thing, first we were waiting INSIDE.... WHERE THE VENUE IS. Then we learned the line would be forming outside, due to them not wanting to have kids everywhere inside the casino. then GET THIS, they tell us we can't SIT DOWN outside beacuse it "looks bad"! WTF?!? some kids contemplated calling lawyers... so we had to stand up.... for 12 hours...gah. once they let us in, aaron and i got front row between trent and aaron n. perfect view for a perfect show. the set list was unusually long. highlights included, the playing of reptile, the frail/wretched and me elbowing the shit out of some curly headed blonde bitch who wanted my spot.... then she couldn't take it and left. all in all an amazing show, we walked out of there dazed, bruised and crippled. wish i could live it all over again.
We met Jerome, he had just finished working out before the show. nice guy. we saw aaron after the show and told him "good show", nice guy too. TRENT REZNOR himself was wandering around with some tall skinny ORANGE asain girl. We met him once so we stayed away as to not be stalker-esque, greedy fans. plus he looked engrossed in the asain broad.
also there were massive amounts of celebrities at the hard rock. none of which matter AT ALL. paris hilton. I hate celebrities.
