So I spent much of the month of September gallivanting around the south and GETTING ENGAGED!

Aaron proposed to me on September 5th in Savannah. I said yes, of course. It was so much fun. We stayed at the Hyatt in a room overlooking the
We walked around the
and the squares, took a private horse and carriage tour, and holed up in the room eating rasberry pancakes.

I've marked off another 7 states in my quest to see them all! In September I
saw a significant portion of these states: Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Kentucky, Virginia and Ohio. All were beautiful, but North Carolina was my
, it was soo pretty and it felt the most normal of them all. I was in shock from all the 80s hair, bad sweaters and general frump of everyone in Tennesse. In South Carolina I got to see (and play in) the Atlantic Ocean
Virginia was beautiful, but very inbred. Georgia was fucking hot, but totally pretty, I saw dolphins in the river! I've never felt anything like that humidity though. There aren't many pictures of me there, my hair was fucking out of control. Kentucky was a shithole, but admittedly some parts were

. Cincinnati (or however you fucking spell it) was MORE of a shithole and I will never live there. I saw nothing even remotely exciting about it.

P.S I love Cracker Barrel. Please someone agree with me.

This trip has helped Aaron and I cross some more potential homes off of our list. We have concluded that we will either end up in Washington, Oregon or the New England states. But North....definitely north.

The trip was a wonderful experience all in all. Although there were some heavy days; Aarons Grandmother got diagnosed with cancer and was in a lot of pain while we were visiting. That was hard to watch. But I think it somehow added to the whole experience.

This weekend we are headed to Yosemite, just to drive. Its been a few weeks, time to get away again.

(ow, my cat is making bread on my legs)

Then during the halloween weekend we will be road tripping to seattle. The drive should prove to be amazingly pretty this time of year. I hope Seattle is still what I want it to be.
