For any of you who have ever gotten off a plane in Colorado during the cooler half of the year, nothing beats that rush of cold air. Refreshing. Beautiful. Heavenly. Wonderful.

I don't think I will ever be able to deny that part of me that loves to watch cartoons. This includes Japanese cartoons.

For Thanksgiving I managed to impress numerous members of my family with my bread baking abilities. I was most excited about impressing my Mimi (father's mother). Best part is, she sung my praises even after I had left. If you knew this woman, you'd be happy too.
I must be getting closer to the end of college because I've never had dodge so many questions about what I'm going to do when I graduate. I got a lot of consolation from my aunt Diane while I was kneading and my Pops when we were in DIA waiting for my mom and sister. My aunt told me about her son (Josh) and his post college travels through South America and other regions as well filling up two passports in total. We had a good conversation about the impact people have on each other and the fact that you won't be able to change the world, but making connections one on one or with a community goes a long way, especially if you work it into daily life. My Pops just told me not to get wrapped around the axle with all my relatives constantly asking about what I'm going to do. Its ok if I don't have any huge plans and I want to take some down time. In other words, its ok if I work but avoid getting a real job.

This is my cousin Josh's (Diane's son) blog from Liberia. He's a funny cat. http://www.liberialedger.blogspot.com/

Speaking of cats...I heart Kumar and I'm really glad to see him. I plan on watching Royal Tenenbaums with Kumar and the throw my mom got me. She's a sweet lady.

I got drunk with my sister the night I got to Tucson. Got to see a swell bar on 29th and Alvernon. Found out that Goldschlager and Jagermeister with a float of JD is called a Harley Oil. And its tasty. Went back to her friend's house, watched Harold and Kumar and smoked.

My grandfather is actually suprisingly lucid. We (my father, sister and I) played hearts with him and one of the other single gents at the home. He's markedly better than the last time I saw him, despite losing Mummo.

I haven't really been sleeping well recently. My sleep has either been cut short or brought on by un-natural means. The all nighter that came right before break, the partying that kicked off break, the drinking and early rising during, and the general chaos of trying to see all of my family in Tucson has me pretty beat. I'm glad its the weekend...
