spring break: las vegas
right so i'll just pick up with my story where shit actually happened.
MONDAY: woke up at 6 went to the airport to catch my 10am flight. we volunteered to get bumped so we got three free round trip tickets to anywhere in the U.S. I spent the entire day walking around in circles in the airport till about 530 when we got on the plane. around 7pm we have a layover in pittsburg, pa and i ate some really bad pizza. got back on the plane and got into vegas around 10pm (1am in new jersey). then we got our rental monster truck and drove to the resort.
TUESDAY: woke up at 6 cuz i think its 9. walk around the strip and in the casinos. turns out i can walk by the slot machines and not get kicked out but if i stand next to them for longer than one second a swarm of security people get up in my face about not being 21 or something. 1230 i go to my sister's house and dino takes me to nellis air force base. that was pretty cool. you have no idea how little there is in nevada until you go there yourself.
WEDNESDAY: wake up 10 (1pm in new jersey). Went to see the hoover dam. ate at a huge buffet, walked around the strip some more and crashed at my sisters house.
THURSDAY: dino and i went hiking/climbing at red rock canyon. red rock canyon=15 mintues from the strip but you feel as if you're a world away from civilization. came back to the resort, walked the strip again, went on a roller coaster in New York, New York, saw the statue of liberty, the eifel tower, and more.
FRIDAY: got on a plane, flew four hours back to philly.
