The pub was small and narrow, but it ran deep in length. The entrance opened up to one of the small ends. The wall opposite the entrance had enormous windows that let in enough sunlight to light the room. On the right side of the room was a two toned wall (beige on top, and a dark brown on bottom) with a few paintings hanging and a door hiding a staircase near the window in the back. On the left of the room was a large rectangular bar that took up a majority of the space. The bar top was dark in color and polished. The sides of the bar were screens that were pale yellow in color with artistic textured patterns running along it. There was a light behind the screens, causing the bar to be illuminated which acted as the main light after the sun went down. There were a few lights hanging from the ceiling, but they gave off little light. Dark, armless bar stools lined the bar, and they were all empty except for one, which held an elderly man who was seated before a plate of yakitori. The wall behind the bar was half mirror and half covered with grills and stove tops. On the mirror half, shelves lined three high were stacked full of liquor bottles, all different colors and shapes. The mirror gave the appearance that there were more bottles than there actually was. In the middle of the wall, just after the mirror ended, there were racks of fancy glass cups, hung upside down, and used only for the top shelf liquors.

The kitchen half of the bar was used to make yakitori. The pub didn't open until six in the evening, so starting from ten in the morning, the bar served yakitori instead. Patrons could still purchase liquor during these times, but had to pay an extra service fee for being before serving hours (as required to keep the liquor license). A man stood behind the bar at the sink nearby the food prepping counter. He was washing dishes that had been used to mix the yakitori sauce for the lone customer.

At the sound of the bell chiming signifying that the door had been slid open, the man behind the bar looked up. He was in his late thirties with a rough appearance that matched the rough part of town the pub was located. Despite his tough experience, his eyes shone with the same vigor that both the Mimura boys' possessed. In fact, after looking upon Mimura-sempai, the resemblance in facial structure to Jiro and Ax was uncanny. "Ohayo~" He spoke as he finished drying the empty bowl in his hands. He set the bowl on the drying rack, tossed the rag over his shoulder, and headed towards the far end of the bar closest to Fukuyo and Gendo. He placed his hands on the counter behind the bar, using it to lean on. "What can I get the lovely couple this morning?"

Fukuyo blushed at the idea of her and Gendo being mistook as a couple. With a slight cough and shake of the head Fukuyo got her thoughts recollected. "Hello we are here to talk to Ami and Jiro's parents we are teacher from the school, well he is. I am the nurse. OH! It isn't anything serious just a conference." Fukuyo added.

"She is a teacher too, actually. She teaches the finest homeroom at Gakuin High," Gendo added as his eyes searched the pub. To grow up in a place like this, an ultimate bachelors pad, the effects it could have on young boys! He would have to keep a closer eye on the Mimura cousins to see if the effects were already showing. He imagined that the effects would be more damaging than beneficial. "Do you serve foreign liquors here, out of curiousity?" He added, irrelevantly.

"Shindo! We are here on business keep focused." Fukuyo fussed. "Well are the boys here and are you one of their dads?" Fukuyo asked the man at that addressed them earlier.

The man sitting at the bar turned to look at the two when Mimura-sama addressed them, but finding nothing particularly interesting about them, he turned his attention back to his food, silently chewing on the yakitori. Mimura-sama stopped leaning on the counter and placed his hands on his hips. He had been a bartender ever since he was of age to work at a bar. "Yeh we sure do. Get an overseas shipment of all kinds of crap every week, we do." He looked from Gendo to Fukuyo. "I remember hearing something about this conference thing. I apologize, my memory isn't the best, not when I have as many people coming through these doors that socialize with as well as serve them some of the best damned drinks in the city-" he exaggerated. "The boys are upstairs. They ain't my kids, no that's for sure. They are my nephews. I was never interested in raising kids, ya see. Lead them on and let them go, I say. Lemme go call them down here though. Take a seat at the bar, why don't you. I got a business to run, so I hope you don't mind us conducting this meeting down here..."

His voice trailed off as he began to head towards the back of the room. He stepped out from behind the bar and with only a few steps more, was at the bottom of the stairs hidden by a door. "Ax! Jiro! Y'all better be awake. Get down here right now," he yelled from the bottom of the staircase. Jiro would probably be up by now, but Ax on the other hand took advantage of that bed. Sure enough, at the sound of his voice, Jiro ditched what he was doing to head straight for the stairs. Often times his uncle would call up for their help if the pub had a rush. They were expected to help out during these times, as a way of paying for his gratitude for letting them live there. "Ax, hurry up," Jiro called out to his cousin.

Fukuyo was more then stunned by the way Mimura-sama talked, especially the way he addressed his relationships. Still Fukuyo took a seat while he called the boys down. Her eyes taking in all the sites, she normally wasn't one to be in a bar.

Ax grumbled from the bed as he sat up and looked around. It wasn't even past 11 so why was he being forced to get up. In his tank and his boxers he reaches for a pair of jeans in the corner of the room on the floor and slips them on and grabs a hooded sweatshirt as well. With a run through his hair with his fingers Ax followed his cousin down the stairs.

While he waited, Mimura-sama took time to straighten up the small stage that was in the back of the room near the wall and across from the staircase. He figured it would take a little bit of time for the two boys to get down there. They were boys after all. He was adjusting the location of the mic stand when Jiro came through the door, rubbing the back of his head and messing with his hair. There was no way there was a rush of customers at this time in the day. "Yeah Oji-sama?" Jiro piped up, before the familiar duo at the front of the pub caught his eye. "Senseis...?" His voice was much quieter this time before, like a light bulb, Jiro put the pieces together. "Ooooh!! Conferences! Am I right?"

Ax thought the same thing when he saw the teachers downstairs. He knew this was all Jiro's fault because he couldn't behave. Ax on the other hand was perfect.

"Yes we are here for the conferences Mimura-kun. I am assuming you are their guardian seeing as they live here with you so I hope you don't mind if we borrow a few minutes of your time sir." Fukuyo said to their uncle.

Gendo had taken a seat besides Fukuyo and was quietly observing the scene.

By this time, Mimura-sama was heading back to his location behind the bar. "You can say that," he replied to her. Truthfully, he had let his nephews move in, but didn't pay too much attention to whatever troubles they got themselves in to. The theme in this household was to mind your own business and take responsibility for whatever shit you got yourself in. That didn't stop their uncle from occasionally worrying about what they were up to. He pretended not to care, but he didn't want to see them kicked out of school. "No, ma'am, I do not mind at all. What'd these brats do this time? Singing too loud in the hallways?"

Fukuyo laughed at the idea. "No, not really but they have disrupted a few school activities with their performances. I am just concerned because an upper classmate has voiced concern about their attitudes. Apparently they are quite the jokesters. We just want to make sure they are focusing on their classwork as well."

Jiro knew immediately who the upperclassman was. Toriyama. Sharing a homeroom class with Ichiro sucked. The guy was always up everyone's butts, ruining the fun. "Ah I see," Mimura-sama spoke. "I apologize. Ya see, I always tell them they got to practice more before they go out playing. Nothin' more disruptive than a crappy performance." He chuckled. "I'm just pullin' yer leg. They're just passionate, ya know. They love that music crap. Their parents didn't like it so much, but I don't see why they should be kept from something they love. They do their homework or at least, they should be. It's their excuse out of washing dishes at the end of the day, so I would assume that they ain't lying to me." He tilted his head in the direction of Ax and Jiro, giving them a stern look.

"Well I am glad they are passionate about their music still I feel they should work harder on their school work. It is always a good idea to have something to fall back on." Fukuyo said with a firm nod of the head.

Ax huffed at the statement having heard it so many times before. "You make it sound like we won't make it but Jiro and I are extremely talented and NOTHING is going to stop us." His fist pumped in the air with enthusiasm.
