‘Prolly what the fight was about I’m guessing. He probably thinks it's his fault.’ She shook it off.
“Well, we’ll go get something after I get this stuff over with. So be ready, and we’ll take mom with us ok?” He brightened up a little now looking at her instead of the kitchen.
“OK!” his father didn’t approve of the level of it and was quick to shoot off mouth. Yumi told her brother to ignore it, and shooed him back in his room. All the while reassuring him she would come get him before she was leaving.
Entering her room she put on a little make up, but didn’t bother to mess with her wet hair. While she hoovered in the mirror in her room, she felt the wave of fighting had come to truce for now, since the slamming has ceased she emerged from the room.
Knocking lightly on the parents bedroom door Yumi opened the door but stood in the doorway.
“Me and Akio are going to get some food after this teacher thing, and we both decided your coming.” She looked somewhat past her mom, her hair was perfect, but her face was streaked with make-up. She had come a custom to this look on her, yet it still seemed unfair.
Her mother quickly got up to grab a tissue. “Yeah, that would be wonderful, but I have to finish getting ready for it so we’ll talk about it later sweetie.” She whiped at her face, yet didn’t turn to look at Yumi.
“Okay.” Yumi said simply before exiting the room to let her mother finish, nor did she go to her room.
Heading towards the living area she took a seat on the couch the side furthest from her father. She and him glared viciously at the T.V. the news playing quietly. Both of them mad at the hand life delt them, and then, as if from no where, another rap at the door.
“Well, I’m guessing that's my teachers.” She said looking over at the man she was forced to see as father. “Don’t worry I’ll get it.” She said shaking her head as he didn’t even move his eyes away from the television.
‘Hope he stays quiet the whole time. Please god don’t let him do something stupid.”
Stopping at the end of the hallway before she went to open the door she called out to her mother notifying her of the arrival.
Opening the door Yumi faced the two, and greeted them. “Follow me,” and she turned on her heels towards the living room.
“This is my dad Saito Takuma, and my mother is still in the freshening up. She’ll be with us soon. Have a seat.” Yumi said as she flopped down on the couch, nor did she take a breath during the statements. It was only starting and she was quick to have it finished.

"Hello," Fukuyo gave a bow. "I am Shinoda Fukuyo the school nurse and this is Shindo Gendo a fellow teacher. Are just here to do a check up on how our student is doing at home and what not. Yumi is a fairly good student but seems to be tired a lot in her classes. Is she getting a sufficient amount of sleep?" Fukuyo started.
