i suck at livejournal.
I know. I havn't posted in a super long time. I apologize.
For all who don't know, I am currently taking an extra semester at a private highschool at yonge and eglington. It's very different from my old school, much harder, but overall, it's pretty good. The people and teachers are awsome. Next semester I will be working full time for 3 monthds; February, March and April. As you may have read in Andrea's entries, Andrea and I are headed to Uganda at the beginning of May. We are still unsure of what is to happen in June, though. I was planning on traveling around europe and meeting my parents in London in mid June. Right now, I'm having trouble finding tour groups that run for such a short period of time. If I found a travel companion to escort me through europe, then it would be easier because i wouldnt have to join a group, or travel alone. Anyone interested? Europe? End of may, beginning of June? eh, eh?
If that's not possible, Andrea and I may travel through Africa on a tour, or maybe stay in Uganda. We are still debating. But I am so thrilled and super excited for this trip! I have never travelled before, and i figure this would be a remarkable experience for a first-time traveller. Andrea and I are planning on staying at an orphanage just outside of Kampala called The Kinship House. (There is a link on her past entry). We will be helping take care of 21 Ugandan orphans, as well as run activites. We will be residing at the Rippeys' place just before and after the few weeks spent at the orphanage. They have been so super fantastic with Andrea and I and basically helped convince my parents to let me visit them. They'll be getting a few bottles of wine from me.
That's about all that has been happening in my life, so far. But I miss you all and hope to see you soooooooooooon!
