(no subject)

So, i had my surgery yesterday. All went well but being awake during it wasn't the most pleasant of experiences. I had so many wires hooked up to me, it was so surreal. I had an IV, a thing that tells your blood pressure, and those sticky things you have on your chest to tell your heart beat but i was being injected with large needles behind my ears. My doctor said they would feel like "little mosquito bites." i dont know what kind of mosquitos he has come encounter with, but these were no mosquito bites. I got scared and there was so much adrenylin (sp?) going through my body that i started shaking. it was very odd because my mind was pretty calm but my body was convulsing. That was when i was sedated and missed half of my surgery, which was nice. I wont go into gross details but after i woke up, i didn't have much fun.

I went back to recovery and i was having a party with my dad. My ears were still numb so i didnt feel anything but the second i got home, I felt the pain. Oh i felt it good. Well i basically just passed out on my bed for the night and tried to maintain sanity. I took 2 tylenol 3's and a perkoset. By then i was flying high! I woke up early this morning to go back to the hospital to take off the bandage. Apparently my ears look good. I didnt get to see them cause there was no mirror, but we re-applied the bandage an now it isnt around my whole entire head so im much more comfortable. I've had four dizzy spells so far and i had to crawl around the house. It's actually quite amusing, i look like a fool! but today is much better than yesterday, and tomorrow will be even better. Im taking the bandage off forever! and i just have to wear a regular headband for a week so my ears dont pop back into place. sorry for such a long post, by the way.

Thats all for now! I'll try to keep you updated.
