play me a memory is a line from the billy joel song "piano man", in context: "he said, 'son can you play me a memory, i'm not really sure how it goes, but it's sad and it's sweet and i knew it complete when i wore a younger man's clothes'". besides it being a cool phrase, it works for a journal which is meant to record... memories. plus, billy joel is cool.
