Well what can I say, I've been living away from home for six weeks now and I can't believe where the time has gone, it really has gone quite fast. So much has happened most of it has been good but some on the otherhand not so great which kind of sucks if I'm really honest. One of the things I was looking forward to about coming to university was making new friends and leaving some of the childish behaviour associated with people back in school and college behind and unfortunately it seems to follow you where ever you go :( and I'm not the least bit impressed, some people really are quite pathetic and childish and most probably a little bit jealous. They were one of the first friends I made when I arrived here and we are on the same course/every lecture together and we also live in the block of apartments next to eachother so we see eachother quite alot; the only thing is I have made lots of other friends not only from on our course and people in lectures but also because I am part of the universities women's rugby team so I spend a lot of time training, playing matches and going out on socials etc with te various groups of people whereas this other person makes no effort to make other friends or join groups or go out at night etc so is now feeling a little bit lonely and left out as Im spending my time with lots of people and not just them and they have the cheek to make it out as though it is all my fault.....hmm I think not some how. I doubt I will put up with it for much longer I can not be doing with pathetic people any more Ive deat with it enough in the past. So my advice to them would be go and get out more for crying out loud.
But on a lighter note I love spending time with the rugby ladies, socials and training are such a laugh there's always something going on. Plus some of the ladies are in a few of my classes so the fun often spills over into lectures :D there's never a dull moment. Especially when we have awesome first matches like we did last week against Manchester Metropolitan University away in Manchester where Bangor won 73 - 0 no less, the manchester team tried very hard bless them but sadly they never got anywhere near to the 22 let alone to the try line hehe. So team Bangor got back and we partied hard that night despite it being a very LONG day but my gosh it was sooooo worth it even if we did pay for it the next day when some of us had ridiculously early lectures haha. Our next game is against Caernarfon in the Welsh league this weekend and we know that it is going to be a tough game but we're going to give it our best and hope we are able to be successful yet again!! *fingers crossed*
Also I have met someone, I see them everyday and we have a few things in common and so on but I am a little confused as to what to do as I dont seem to bee able to understand them very well at the moment as they blow hot and cold a lot...which can get a little annoying. But they make me smile and we do have a laugh together, why can't things ever be simple or slightly straightforward in any way??? Oh well I guess I will just have to see how things go over time and see if anything becomes of it? who knows anyting could happen its university afterall.
