Haha, long time no update. No, really, like a month or something. I unfortunately got hooked on MySpace... and it's like a drug. It's gotten so bad that Elena now refers to me as Miss Katie Myspace. So Livejournal got shoved into a corner and forgotten for awhile. *sigh* But I'm updating now! I am.
Well, summer absolutely flew by... it seems like we didn't even have a proper summer. Kind of like it was just a really long winter break or something. I don't know. School sucks, so far. I have no classes with Jillian, Rachel, Nina, or Brittany. Elena and I always will have chorus, though, luckily! School's sucking away all the energy I had over the summer. I feel like I've never felt so tired in my life. I've already gotten assigned a project in HOTA and English. YES. I'm thrilled. I do drive to school now though, and that makes it somewhat more tolerable. I don't have to ride that bus anymore. Unfortunately, the seniors got their parking passes today, so I can't park in the lot anymore. I'll be hiking out on Sideburn and Gainsburough. Sweet.
What makes this year EVEN BETTER (sarcasm, please) is that I'm not a senior. Everyone else is, it seems like. Everyone but me. Singers is all seniors, except for 4 of us - me, Elena, Joe, and Suzy. That'll be fun come graduation (sarcasm again, please). The new chorus director... uhh, well, there's not much to say. He's kind of boring and weird. DUDE. He put me in the third row. As an Alto 2. Haha, we'll see how that works out. Probably not to well.
Boys are stupid. Enough said.
My parents are making me start paying for insurance now, too. They say they don't want me growing up to be another 'spoiled fairfax kid.' Mmkay mom and dad, take all my money. It's $50 a month to me, which is actually only half of it. Actually, in a way, I'm glad I wasn't given a brand new car and money to buy gas with. Haha, maybe I'm going insane. Who knows.
Yeah, so the Giants definitely won three out of four of their preseason games. I am so pumped for the opener this Sunday. It'll be hot.
I want to raise money for the hurricane victims. Really badly. I was watching Oprah the other day (okay, literally NOTHING was on) and it was really sad. The devastation is beyond belief. I'm going to start brainstorming for ideas. Feel free to help me come up with some.
