(no subject)
Hey everyone!
For a class project, me and some friends (well not really, but that's not the point) have to do a play, so we decided to do a 'Modern' version of Grease. Of course we had to edit a lot of it to make it about 15 minutes long, and because it's for a french class (im in French Immersion =D ), we had to re-write the whole thing in french. We've put so much hard work into it, and we've beeen working for almost a month on it. Im playing all of the weird characters that no one else wanted to be, so im Kenickie (we're calling him Nick, because apparently Kenickie is 'a stupid name that would get you beaten up, because it sounds loserish'), Marty, and for about 10 seconds, i'll be the principal. =D
Im so excited for it. We're gonna perform some of the songs too. So we're doing 'Summer Nights', 'Sandra Dee', 'Sandra Dee part 2', and 'You're the one that I want'. Sadly I don't get to do that much singing, but I still really love our play!
We're gonna have a gang beating at the end of the last song, because one of the guys in our group suggested that no high school student would ever break out in song, and that we should make it funny, and that's a really good way of doing it.
Our costumes are so cute, I loooooove it. We're gonna wear poodle skirts, and be all 'Im vintage! Look at ME!', and im wearing a button down cardigan.
Wish us luck, because this thing is worth like half of our term mark!
