Laptops are bad for me
So I've decided that itis bad for me to own a laptop for school because I can't pay attention to class with one sitting in front of me. Exibit A: I am in class right now and typing a LJ entry instead of taking notes on something that I know nothing about. Whatever I had a rough week so lay off, okay?
Yesterday Anthony left for school and it was really sad. I took him to the airport, and after he engaged in a brief scuffle with the ticket counter ladies, he was safely on his way. I was really depressed and sad because why the heck wouldn't I be, and then I got stuck on teh beltway for 2 and a half hours which isn't really a pleasant experience, as you can surely imagine. I got an email from him this morning saying that he had arrived safely so I was glad to hear that.
I don't know what I am going to do tonight, but apparently there is a party in my building. I don't know if i am in a "Party" kind of mood but I guess I should go to at least meet people. Maybe I'll feel better about it later.
This class sucks. Its really boring and about the "electoral college" (woot). I only have 2 more classes after this one today, one with the same pofessor as this one which sucks too and my AMST class which is hilarious and fun.
After the AMST class I will gym it up and eat some lunch, go shower, and head back to class. WOOT. Then hopefully it is dinner someplace interesting and a fun night. Tomorrow is supposed to be the RENN FEST so I am looking forward to that......
