handmade sketchbook/journal kits
Just a quick post before I have to go to work. I have these four sketching/journaling kits that I've made. I originally made one for myself to carry my moleskine and pens around, but i decided to make more to sell. Each kit consists of a quilted pouch, blank skechbook/jounal made from paint chip samples, and an assortment of drawing/writing tools. The inside has several pockets to hold pens and pencils, and it's a perfect fit for moleskine pocket books. The proceeds from the sale of these four pouches is going to help the victims of hurricane Katrina. I live in North Louisiana, and there are countless evacuees in my town and surrounding areas. Shelters are in need of things like toilet paper, paper plates, eating utensils, etc. I will use the money from these kits to buy these things and donate them to shelters in my area.
I'm leaving for work soon, but will be able to answer any questions as soon as I get home tonight. I'm only taking paypal for these four kits, so I can go and buy these supplies right away. Sales are on a first come, first serve basis, so when i get home tonight, I'll notify any potential buyers of the status. I'll then give you my paypal address. Each kit is $35, plus 3.95 for priority shipping.
