Things I really want to begin doing that are entirely attainable (other than the obvious, like buying a house and becoming a lean teenage greyhound of a human being):
1. Eat fruits and/or vegetables with every meal. I'm already making excellent progress on this. I have grapefruit and tangerine trees in my backyard, so I really have no excuse.
2. Donate money monthly to the Humane Society and to Planned Parenthood. (A side note: GetThePill.com, a great website that allows you to get emergency contraception -- NOT an abortion pill, but emergency contraception -- for $25 in a matter of hours, no longer provides prescriptions in Florida or Ohio. Motherfucking conservative cocksuckers need to get away from my ovaries.) In addition to monthly donations, I want to join the Humane Society auxiliary to help raise money that isn't my own. Last year I did the walk, and I will again this year, but it's not enough.
Last month, I went off the antidepressants I've been on since December 2003. This wasn't really planned; I was sick and simply lacked the will to contact my doctor for a refill. This a) will save me a lot of money every month and b) will stop me from ingesting drugs I probably don't need anyway. I'm feeling absolutely fine, and it's been a few weeks already. In fact, I'm feeling a little more than fine.
UPDATED TO ADD: I've become a sustaining member of Planned Parenthood. I am very pleased with this.
