i met my family in the outer banks for labor day weekend. this was the first time that (a) amanda and i had seen my mom since she developed cancer and (b) all the "grandchildren" (a.k.a. dogs) had been together with the entire family.
last weekend jason and i went to the renaissance faire in sterling forest, ny. i'd never been to one before, but i'll definitely be going again. i don't think we stopped laughing the entire time.
i've been volunteering for the obama campaign on a more than regular basis. our latest event was a huuuuge 24,000+ rally in washington square park on thursday.
and finally, i got another tattoo yesterday.
