Hola amigos been a long time since I rapped at ya.
Shannon and I have been spending our spare time house-hunting and preparing for our upcoming nuptials. Last weekend we picked up the fabric for the flower girls outfits. She has a friend that is going to sew the outfits for the Shannon, her maid of honor Sue and the flower girls. I still need to start gathering addresses for the invite list. I still need to add some folks to the list too. The problem is that I can't seem to remember my own families last names. I have too many aunts who remarried that I don't know their last names. I guess I'll just get that information from my parents.
We meet the the realtor this weekend to look at houses. On the plus side, Shannon and her roommate SUe own their house, but purchasing a house is so crazy. To quote Tommy Cramer "It's gonna be a fist fight, folks!"
We also got a Costco membership so that we could feed all the guests. Hope that you all like bulk Ramen! :-)
School is still school. I just finished Programming Concepts and now I am working on my Java class. It is a directed study class since there was not enough people left from my programming concepts class to have an actual class. So I just receive assignments by email from the instructor and then reply back. It has been pretty easy so far. I wrote a looping program and a carpet cost calculator. Those little programs that no one would actually use in real life.
I still check myspace and other LJ accounts, but I haven't had anything else to report.
I am thinking about trying to make a WAP/WML calendar application that I can update from my cell phone or from a web site. That way I can keep life in track and share my schedule with others. If I do anything with it I'll be sure to keep you posted.
