Sometimes I wish I could just graduate,
get married, get knocked up,
and sit around eating chocolate all day.
Little kids have this innocence
that makes me smile so big.
They say how they feel and
they have no problem
doing what they think is fun.
But instead I have to go to overnights
and interviews and tours at colleges
where everyone talks about what they want to major in.
With their holier-than-thou attitudes
that make me feel oh-so-excluded.
Why does everything have to be so complicated?
Why can't everyone just eat cookie dough
and play board games and stop being so fake?
Because people can be so much fun
when they stop caring about
how others look at them
and start acting silly.
