I just want to say thank you for all your hugs and kind words for yesterday. It really really means a lot to me. It's been one of the hardest weekends I've ever been through, but it's so lovely to realise how very many people care.
So thank you.
We're all coping here. Rex has been in the family for as long as Jennifer - my kid sisters entire life time - and he was so much apart of the family the house feels strangely wrong and at odds with the universe now that he's not in it.
I realise this will change, in time, but at the moment it's still completely wrong to look at the spot next to the couch where he used to sit and not see him... and know that he'll never sit there again.
I've been watching things like Barnum and the Wizard of Oz and the Sound of Music all weekend...
