I guess it's time for a "real" entry. I started using LJ to either document events in my life or dump a bunch of mental vomit as therapy. It seems, as of late, the events of my life are rather dull and not worth documentation. It's also obvious that any therapy I hoped to gain from LJ is non-existant. As in, "vomiting" it all out in here doesn't really make that much of a difference. Regardless, I figure I'll update the LJ world on my life anyway.
I'm currently seeking employment head on. It sucks. I got way too used to not working. Getting back out there has been like dragging my feet in the mud. Why can't I just meet a gorgeous, ritch "Adonis" who will take care of me for life? Anyway, going through temp services right now. A friend of mine made an enteresting suggestion while we where hanging out at my apartment the other day. We were looking through pictures I took from The Renaissance Festival. Mostly pictures of faeries and elves. My friend said she thought I'd make a good faerie. Got me to thinking about looking into possible jobs at The Festival this fall. It's near Houston, so I'd have to find temporary relocation, most likely. My friend said she'd watch my demon-cats while I was gone. Such a sweetie. The more I think about it, the more I like the idea. It's different and it would certainly be an adventure. Not to mention the fact that I'm hopelessly-obsessed with TLoTR. Maybe I could get all that out of my system while working there. Anyway, it's a thought.
Jon-jon!!! I was out of town this past weekend! Sorry I missed your party. When I got your message I was so excited to hear from you. Wish I'd gotten in earlier. No matter. We need to hang out soon, anyway. Be sure and leave a message if you and Brandon decide to call. I don't have caller I D.
Speaking of which. People keep calling me and hanging up when my answering machine picks up. Irritates the crap out of me. I don't have caller I D, so I don't answer the phone until I hear who it is on my machine. Are these people afraid of answering machines? Scaredy-cats.
Let's see...what else is up? Mmmmm. Oh, I allready have my Halloween costume put together and ready to go. Hopefully, there will be lots of cool events and things going on this year. My costume is awesome so I have to be able to show it off as much as possible. Halloween is my FAVORITE holiday. LOVE IT! Of course, with me, it's every day. *snicker* I know all you freaky "pagan" types will be doing something. We all need to get together and dance naked under the moon.
Ok, ok. Maybe naked-dancing is asking a little much. But we should all get together, no?
Mmmmmm, see? Boring. I guess that's it for now. In repsonse to Shawn telling me to "eject TLoTR from the DVD player" I leave you with this:
