#40) Society is intrinsically unfair. It's just built that way. There will always be people who are given privileges and advantages that other people will never get. And some people who are subject to disadvantages that others are not. The concept of "all things being equal" cannot be applied to people's lives. It just cannot.
#41) There are over 7 billion perceived realities on this world but there is only one objective reality. All other things being equal, over the long term the person with the perceived reality closest to the objective reality will succeed most often.
#42) There are two separate, though congruent, justice systems in the US. There is the justice applied to the wealthy, the powerful, or the connected. Then there is the "Tough on Crime" Justice applied to the rest of us.
#43) Just to be clear, in the American judicial system, you are not sentenced for the crime you have been convicted of committing. You are sentenced for the crime they are scared you might commit next.
