My voice is completely gone....but tonight was amazing.
It's amazing how I went from being sick about every three weeks to not getting sick once from the time I arrived at Whitworth in August until coming home for Christmas break.
And now I'm sick again. What voice I had left I completely used up tonight caroling with Madrigals on Balboa Island. But it was completely worth it. It felt almost as if I had never left- the group was more than halfway comprised of alums, and almost everybody else was in the group last year with me. Absolutely amazing. Especially to get to sing with guys again! I've missed that, being in women's choir.
I know that I didn't really spend too much time with all of these amazing people last year, and looking back that's a big regret of mine. Now that I've gotten the chance to see them all again, I definitely realized everything I missed out on!
