workin' gals
Well! So far my new job has been great. I was really nervous the first day, but after about the first 3 customers, everything I was supposed to do just came naturally.
Today my feet are killing me. It was even busier than yesterday. It was nuts, people were actually waiting for a place to be able to sit down, and yet I made $20 less in tips than I did yesterday. But I also had fewer tables so maybe that explains it. But anyway, I think I am going to do all right, and the pay is nice. It sure is a lot of work though. I dont stop moving from 11 to 2, or even 3. I know it's not that long, but 3 hours of constant running around makes it seem like it's a long time.
Anyway, I'm sure that whole paragraph was good and boring.
I haven't been doing much else lately. I'm pissed at B because he had the whole day off work yesterday, and didn't clean the kitchen. He didnt even start the dishwasher before he left like I asked him too. And he left some perfectly good chilli sitting on the stove top for 3 1/2 hours. I could've eaten it for lunch, but there is no way I am eating it after it's sat out for that long. So yeah, we have no clean cups or plates, and no more chilli. I'm going to beat him up when he comes home for lunch
Oh yeah, but he did buy me the Two Towers extended version the other day, so maybe I won't beat him up too bad.
