What a day

Another brilliant day at work today. Four of the hardest working people I work with have been downsized. They're being kept around for the next two months to transition the total amount of their knowledge to the new tech lead and the new outsourcing team that will be brought in, but I feel like I've been punched in the stomach. It's something that was almost expected, since they had announced some changes were forthcoming this month, but it's still devastating to lose dedicated coworkers that you've shared jokes with. I feel like burying my head in the sand, but life will go on, albeit differently.

Other than that, everything's peachy.
