i've spent the whole morning searching for french beginner classes and beginner tango classes.
i've contacted the french institute on east 60th for their summer classes. it's about $300+ for a term.
but i know the french church on lex ave. has classes for free on sundays, buti don't want to go by myself. haha, it's just that i don't know who might be there and a whole hour in a strange place by myself. i would invite my friends but the class starts at ten. in the morning. on a sunday. i don't know. i'll ask nella or whatever today.
now for the beginner tango classes, i've looked at dance chelsea and dancesport. they sound pretty good. i want to sign up for the summer classes. does anybody know any other good places? in the city preferably. if not, brooklyn.
and finally, i have to send in the request for my tennis permit. and i need to buy a racquet. i'm using the school's. the permit is ten bucks and allows you to play wherever for the whole summer until fall(tennis season). joy!
