1970-

"bridge over troubled waters" was originally about the helicopter scene in "the deer hunter" where christopher walken falls into a river, and garfunkle thought there should've been a bridge there. but then he realized that movie had yet to be made. incidentally, simon blinked out of existence.

1980-

the 1980s ushered in a time of galactic peace... until bryan adams. his birth was foretold long ago, and that he would unify the galaxy... or utterly destroy it. his midi cholorine count being abnormally high, he was taken under the wing of an android copy of beethoven that only the canadian government and milton berle knew existed. he excelled in all things musical, but could not temper his rage, nor his love. and a musician can know no emotions. and after marcelle marcoe murdered his mother, he came out with "summer of 69". unleashing an unrelenting torrent of pain and misery upon those not blessed by deafness. it didn't stop untill a year later, after achilles' descendant, steve, murdered the wayward musician. i chose this song because sixty-nine is a dirty number. and the irony in bryan adams dying a total virgin.
