:D I got an AC for my room! :D:D:D:D:D
My bathrooms no longer flooded, but damn did it create quite a mess! >_< We're going to have to replace all of the carpeting now...
On yet another family note, my family is truly insane. I swear, none of them know how to talk *quietly*, especially while on the phone. Did no one tell these people the difference between an ‘indoor’ and ‘outdoor’ voice? Christ.
My mom got my uncle to replace the bathroom phone, which was unplugged when I got my DSL. Since I disconnected my phone line, the jack that was being used for the bathroom phone could no longer be used, because that’s the one that I’m currently using for the ‘net. Anyway, to make a long story short, my mom thought that it’d be a brilliant idea to plug the bathroom phone back in, thus connecting it to the jack that carries the DSL signal. Then, she got my uncle to plug the cord that had been connected to said jack into the jack that used to be my personal line.
As you can probably imagine, it didn’t work, and a yelling match-one of many that my mother and I have been engaging in as of late-ensued. I managed to lose my temper in quite a spectacular fashion yet again, while being as sarcastic as possible.
My father keeps on insisting that she’s ‘getting older’. I do realize that, but pissing people off in the most explosive ways possible seems to be one of my weaknesses. What can I say? I guess I enjoy seeing the fireworks so to speak. Sometimes I wonder if I’ve taken ‘I don’t care what anyone thinks of me’ a little too far. I mean, is there any such thing as being *too* comfortable in ones skin?
I really need to download one of the LJ clients again, but I keep forgetting. Oh well. *shrugs*
