(no subject)
i made my journal all pretty.
oh, and i forgot to mention that i'm graduating of wednesday (june 8th).
also eric got a job. so, i'm alone all day.
i would like a job, too. but, i don't have a car.
so, i'll have to wait until we move into town. then i can walk/ride a bike to a job.
has anyone heard of a hawk and a hacksaw?
they played at the record store here (the love shack).
and they're incredible. apparently, the band is basically just one man.
but, he had other musicians play on his album (including a member of neutral milk hotel).
the concert was the guy, who played the DRUMS AND ACCRODIAN AT THE SAME TIME.
he had a drum stick taped to his left knee and a drumstick coming out of a hat.
the hat also had perhaps 30 bells attatched to it. he used the drumstick on his
hat to hit a cymbol next to his head. also, there was a young-looking woman playing the xylephone, practice piano (the kind you blow in), and the violin. she played the violin so well!
the music was.. strange romantic french-russian-italian-middle eastern weirdness. i liked it a lot.
