over the past few days, i've been exceptionally giggly.
today, i laughed at an automatic paper towel dispenser.
it wasnt just a chuckle. it went on for a few minutes.
so, i've decided that i'm not giggly, i'm just easily amused.

i purchased a new belly button ring from an overly attentive sales associate today at the mall. he told me that both balls unscrew from the bar and that i can just change the balls and not the whole bar (i'm freaked out by the idea of changing the whole bar). After i purchased the jewelry and returned to the dorm, i attempted to unscrew the top ball. it was difficult. upon further inspection, i've decided that the top ball might not unscrew like the faux-hawk at the mall told me it would. so i attempted to unscrew the bottom ball. no luck there either. could it be that he lied about both balls being unscrewable? after having a few girls on the hall try to unscrew it, i decided to try to take out the old belly button ring. i can't get those unscrewed either. so...i have a problem. what to do? what to do?

around 4 or 5 am, the following situation crossed my mind.
you're boarding a plane in lexington on this daylight savings time day. it is 1 am. you're flying to chicago. the time changes midflight and you jump ahead an hour. so now its 2am. you land in chicago. its 12 because its a different time zone and daylight savings time hasnt gotten there yet. so you're two hours off of where you're supposed to be. that would be confusing and crazy. especially if you're flying delta, cause they suck and they'd probably get confused and delay your flight, or your connection would take off an hour early and you'd miss it. cause delta is gay like that. so lets say you make your connection flight, because you chose to fly southwest instead of delta. you've arrived at 12, and your connection leaves at 1. you fly back into eastern time zone so now its 3? or something...i dont know. i've confused myself. but anyways. on paper, that flight looks ridiculous. on the way to chicago you basically traveled back in time 2 hours. and then flying back to the eastern time zone your flight technically took 3 hours. so these two flights, traveling the same distance, one was a negative 2 hours...and one took 3 hours...or something confusing. i dunno. thats neither here nor there. the moral of the story is that i hate flying and delta sucks and they probably lost your baggage in the midst of all the time travel and what not.

i think my math is all wrong..

and speaking of time travel. everyone knows that you're not supposed to bring things from the future with you when you travel to the past...or like...the universe will implode or something. so traveling in the middle of the night, over time zones, on a day of daylight savings time is just a bad idea. cause you could cause the world to implode by bringing things from the future.

clearly i should be sleeping cause i'm getting stupid now.
