Dental craziness.
ARARRGGHHH
I'm in extreme dental pain with nerve flaring and tooth infected, and if one more person who's flaked on taking me to the dentist complains that I've put it off, there will be blood!
The dental school (ASDOH) cannot be reached by bus; it's out in the Chandler boonies (with a new one built in the Glendale boonies). Every person who said they'd drive me has found a way to cancel at the last minute. This has been going on for over a year. I've had about a dozen "concerned" friends, partners and roommates offer, I've made a dozen appointments, had a dozen flakes, and had to cancel every one. They all get frustrated with me when I have extreme dental pain but NO ONE has been reliable enough to follow through.
Now I have to pay a ridiculous amount of money for a useless exam and x-rays because I have to go to an emergency dentist today. The exam is useless because I have to be on antibiotics (yay hives) for days before I can be treated at all and I won't be seeing the emergency dentist for my treatment - all I need is the Rx for antibiotics and a little bit of vicodin to make it through the week-end.
EDIT: Screw that. I cannot afford it (I haven't yet received my SSA increase AND I paid a few debts this month). One of my roommates will take me to the ASDOH clinic on Monday morning. My medical Urgent Care can see me (I called) and give me the medication I need to make it until the beginning of the week.
