BTW, Margaret Richards, from
Body Electric (the pbs workout program I use every morning), will be 60 years old this year and she's still kicking my ass!!! Quite the motivation for me, though.
The soreness is the good level, the micro-tearing of the muscles and whatnot. The soreness has been prompted a question for me, though... Does one stay this sore after months of working out, if one upgrades the weight levels and continues to micro-tear? I think I'd have to convince myself I really enjoy this soreness to stay motivated.
Of course, adding 8 lbs to my weight helps to inspire me. Sometimes I need the extra inspiration since the show is on at 5:30 a.m., and I move furniture before and replace furniture after in order to have enough space.
Another motivator is how crappy I feel on Sunday morning after these three weeks. The shows are not on during the weekend and I'm stiff/sore by Sunday if I've not stretched on weekend mornings. Monday's are rough. I've got a yoga cd I'm going to use for those mornings.
