Summary Roxas deals with Axel's death using Sora.
As the Nobody faded back into the darkness, Sora was beginning to feel powerless. He had spent so much time destroying the Nobodies, he’d never really stopped to think. Axel was different. He didn’t deserve to die. It was one of the times that Sora really wanted to save someone… but he couldn’t.
As he disappeared, Sora felt tears stinging in his eyes and the temptation to sit there in the dark and release those emotions. He was upset, but he hadn’t thought it enough to make him cry. Donald and Goofy approached him slowly, seeming to mourn the Nobody as well.
“Sora?” Donald asked. “Why are you crying?”
“I… don’t know,” he admitted. “It’s just… something inside of me…”
“Maybe it’s Roxas,” Goofy suggested, softly.
“Roxas…” Sora said quietly, placing a hand to his heart. “Yeah.”
