Summary: Ciel is injured.

"Sora?" Ciel whimpered, tapping his forehead lightly. He remained motionless, shielding his face with one arm. She looked around, her harried breath beginning to numb her lungs. She stared around at the scenery now suspended in time. Ciel fell to her knees and clutched her staff to her body. She hadn't meant to lose control like that, it just... happened. She couldn't've even stopped herself from casting the spell. And now she was stuck in a moment of time, until the magic wore off... if it ever did.

"Ciel, look out!" Sora shouted. Ciel looked around, but didn't see the hammer-shaped Heartless until it was too late. She slumped over on the stairs of Beast's Castle soundlessly.

Sora took care of the remaining Heartless before he ran up and knelt by the unconsious girl. He lifted her up by her shoulders and shook her lightly. "Ciel, wake up..." he said, slapping her face lightly with his hand. "Wake up!"

Ciel's eyes opened as she looked up. "What the..." she said, looking around at the huge entrance hall of the castle. "Where am I?" She looked to Sora with a frightened expression on her face. "Did you bring me here? What do you want?" she scooted back from him and jumped as her hand touched her staff, which had rolled away from her grasp when she fell.

Sora groaned. The Heartless must have hit her harder than I thought... "It's alright, Ciel, things may be a little confusing, but I can explain everything if you'll just listen to me."

Ciel froze, choosing to trust this new, strange boy. "How'd I get here?" she whispered.

"You've been travelling with me for the last few months. We've been fighting Heartless and one of them---"

"Heartless?" she asked.

Sora's shoulders sunk in disbelief. "What's the last thing you remember?" Ciel thought back. "I... I was in Twilight Town..." The keywielder groaned again. "Everything after that is gone?"

"What do you mean, gone?" she replied. Sora sighed, not knowing exactly how to explain.

"Well... A Heartless--"
"And you still haven't told me what those are!"
"Quiet, I'm getting to that. Anyway, A Heartless knocked you on the head and you sort of... forgot everything."
Ciel squinted at him. She leaned forward and whispered, "Why should I believe you?"
Sora looked around. "Err... Your staff!" he said, pointing at the blue staff behind her. "You've used your magic to help fight them. Go on, take it."

Ciel looked at it apprehensively, but took it anyway. She held it up to examine it... something about it did seem familiar... but magic? No way. She could never use magic... "I don't believe you." she said, placing the staff down on the ground. "Now take me home, please." she said.

Sora sighed. There had to be some way to make her remember...

He stood and offered a hand to her. "Alright. Come on, the ship's this way."

She took his hand as he pulled her up, but gasped as his hand snuck around her waist. "What are you---" but she was cut off as Sora closed her mouth with a kiss. Her knees weakened beneath her as memories began to flood her mind once more. Sora tightened his grip around her waist to keep her from falling.

Sora brought his head back to let her breathe and to see if his idea had worked. Ciel looked up at him and hugged him tightly. "I believe you, Sora..." she said softly.
