I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.
When I came home last night, there were two cats standing in front of my house. One was pitch black, the other was pure white. They both ran away as I approached, but after the black had disappeared into the dark, the white stopped at another gate and sat down. It stared at me, absolutely still, until I went inside.
This all seems fierce portentous - it's just a shame it's being presented to an idiot.
