Why do some people feel the need to voice their opinions about moral values and relationship advice to people who obviously do not want to hear their useless banter...Recently I met someone who i decided to date but have since then felt the backlash from certain people regarding my new boyfriend's age and i guess grade in school. He is 17 and a junior in high school...I mean yes I know that 2 years behind me in school is a little rough but hes only a year younger. I do like this boy, or guy or ....idk what to call him lol but hes nice, genuine, a little naive but a real great guy. The only fault would be that he's somewhat immature..but come on who isnt immature sometimes? I dont know what it is about him thought...hes so immature its cute, and he tries so hard to show off...but not in a bad way just in a kinda childish adorable way. He just makes me smile and laugh and i love seeing him....
I met him in the city Sunday for a kinda date thing and it was simple and amazing..First he met me at the train station cuz i thought i was gonna get lost and we chatted on the ride to where ever he was taking me. It turns out we were headed to the pier in the west village cuz ive never been there and he said its beautiful and wanted to show me his fav spots in the city. We went to the pier and got to know each other better, and walked around the rest of the village and told me we had to go back before i left...Well im not gonna give too much away but I had a great day and a great date and I cant wait to see him again...but it was wierd being comfortable around someone whos in the same grade a my sister!!!! lol
Still though I cant get over the shit my "friends" were saying about his agae and shit...but lauren my savior gave me some great advice that imma end this entry with
"Do not allow the opinions of others sway decisions in life and relationships, because the sacrifice of someone who makes you laugh and smile will only cause detriment to yourself in the long run.... "
