it's been a good week...
monday was xs with my erin's, mike, justin and brian.
wonderful as usual.
then went out in bel air.
tuesday was a relaxation day.
wednesday, worked all day.
went up to travis'.
then was out late for gary and jay's birthdays.
i think i've finally gotten used to being the only girl amongst a bunch of guys.
thursday morning, slept in which was lovely.
woke up to hear that gary wrecked his truck on the way back to trav's house, dropping off neal and nick.
ate chinese food and watched tv, then went back to sleep til like 2, ha.
finally got up and dressed, then headed down to DC to see gnarls barkley and rhcp.
i definitely drove right past the exit for 295 s, wasn't paying attention.
we went back and forth through the tunnel like four times til we got it right.
gnarls barkley were ok... would have been sooo much better, but the sound quality SUCKED and it was all muffled.
it was hard to even make out what song they were doing.
met up briefly with sanzone and his gf, laura.
then bought some $9 chicken tenders and $7 yuenglings, ridiculous.
even though my love for the rhcp somewhat faded years ago, the show was amazing.
their set was shorter than i expected, but awesome, nonetheless.
sooo tired, driving on the way home.
got pulled over by a state trooper...
thankfully only for a burnt out tag light.
i was so scared i was getting a speeding ticket or something... i've had bad luck lately with that shit.
anyways, a lovely night.
my boyfriend is the motherfucking best.
last night, we attempted to watch "waking life" which is by the same dude who did "a scanner darkly".
not a good idea to try and watch when very tired...
it was so philosophical and intellectual, like all the way through with no time to really let anything absorb.
i definitey want to watch it again, fully awake.
travis' birthday is on monday.
then our employee christmas party is tuesday.
classes start too... BLAH.
