Dexter season one is going to be on CBS starting feb. 17. I am so excited to re-watch the first season~~~<3 It is an amazing show and now it is accessable to all, you guys should watch it. SERIOUSLY. I do not make tv suggestions usually, but, this is seriously a must watch on my list. I gave up on the second season, but the first was amazing. It could really just be stand alone without any other seasons I believe.
I don't think this would have happened if not for the writers strike, so I am suddenly a little more happy about the situation because it means more dexter fans might come out! I was about to get the first season on DVD, but now I get to rewatch it without my wallet being destroyed. With that and a new episode of Supernatural coming in less than two weeks, I am very excited for late Janurary and Feburary.
Yes, fall into Dexter. You will not be dissappointed. The only problems I have with it coming to regular cable is less Deborah swears and maybe less violence. I consider this show to be perfection in the Crime Drama field, an original series with a great actor. Even if you don't like the crime drama genre, Michael C. Hall is extremely good as Dexter. He's enough of a reason to watch the show. And he is unervingly sexy. VERY VERY SEXY. Didn't care for him much in Six Feet Under, well, looks wise, but then Dexter came along.
HEYO! But as a warning, its about a Serial Killer as the main character who is also a forensic scientist. If you are not into the rooting for the killer thing then avoid this series because by the end you will want him to win. Remember the date Sunday, Feburary 17. The first book is worth a look at even if it isn't very well written, I mainly read it for a creepier, more pyscho Dexter.
But I suggest the show over the book, its very well done. Well, Jesus loves me! New episode of Supernatural and Dexter coming to basic cable soon, its a great two months.
