הכרזה על הקמת מדינת ישראל
בארץ-ישראל קם העם היהודי, בה עוצבה דמותו הרוחנית, הדתית והמדינית, בה חי חיי קוממיות ממלכתית, בה יצר נכסי תרבות לאומיים וכלל-אנושיים והוריש לעולם כולו את ספר הספרים הנצחי.
Please notice the first line from the declaration of independence.
It states that our nation (Am Yisrael) had been formed in Eretz Yisrael.
However this is not true (in the mild words) - we've been formed in the desert around serving HaShem and not around the land!
Anyway, I'm still happy that Israel is out there :-)
