In other news: Looootssss happened recently. AB and I went to see Amanda Palmer (singer of The Dresden Dolls) live at the Bush Hall in London. Amanda sings incredibly well live, it's not often you find artists who can sing that well live for such a small (small venue) audience. It was an entertaining show, the only bad thing was the number of tall people who insisted on standing in our way.
Tall people: the bane of gig-watchers. Honestly, one guy was so tall he towered over everyone around him and GUESS WHO WAS STUCK BEHIND HIM! Me! Had to keep leaning left and right and to the left was another reasonably tall guy with a backpack and to the right was a tall guy with a mohawk. AB and I eventually had to move away from the stage because it was just too hot and the tall guys seemed to enter a 'you will see nothing' formation.
Haha but it was awesome, because Amanda walked off the stage and came to the piano at the back of the room where we were standing. So suddenly AB and I were in the front row again! We all had to sit down though, so it was still hard to see Amanda because of the piano in the way. AB got some good pictures of Amanda's boots though. That's what really counts. The boots!
In other, other news: Going away for a week on the 18th with AB and my family to Norfolk. Nice to have a little change of scene, plus it could even be fun with AB there. AB will protect me from Kareena's wrath. Won't you, AB?
