I remember this time of the summer.. two years ago:
Me and Casey were the best of friends. Quite inseperable. As much as we denied it two years ago, we were both nervous as hell to start highschool! I remember hanging out in the summer telling both Ben and Brendan that they had to look out for us, not let us get lost!! lol ..and they did just that! I remember sitting in my first period French class looking across the room to see a cute boy who i became really close with. Lunch for the first few weeks of school with Casey, Ben, and Brendan, and always sharing my seat with Jon H! I had an awesome boyfriend that i met the first day of Mrs. Fowlers biology class!! And that feeling of getting home so early, to totally ditch all my homework, and i still made awesome grades! Cheering Xtreme with Hannah, Shayna, Sarah, Noel. and skipping practices to go to football///basketball games.
Well a lot has changed since those first few weeks of Freshman year.
I don't know any of those people anymore! Me and Casey never talk, even though we've had plenty of classes together, Ben has graduated *even though i didn't talk to him since Freshman football season anyways*, Brendan has moved to Las Vegas, and me and Jon just kinda stopped talking to. This past year there wasn't a cute boy to meet me in between all my classes like he did that year, and when we occassionally passed each other in the halls we didn't look at each other! Now i'm actually excited to start school back up rather than nervous! I have the best friend imaginable!!! and i've made some really close friends this summer! This year i get to help my brother not be such a dork! and i get to help him around the school. just like ben and brendan helped me and casey! I'm cheering at Procheer and I'm on the Varsity squad at school. and i didn't even make freshmen squad two years ago.
Those aren't necessarily good or bad. just different! Stuff can change a lot in a short period of time.. and i'm just now noticing how different life really is!!!
