Drinking and Driving .... Dont Do This
Well, I must say that I am sorry if I had offended anyone last night (early this morning). I dont do that often, but when I do ... oh brother.
I must admit to having a grand time though. We left some time around 4:30pm and started with a great drive up the river as the water was really low due to lack of rain. We actually managed to drive down the river a good ways as it only got chest deep.
We then made our way around to the AT&T Fiber Optic lines which run the width of the state. After a short run of about two or three miles along the lines, a buddy of mine Jason, we have named "Captain Nemo" ( mostly because he likes to test the depth of water holes by driving head first into them ... usually ending up 5 feet deep in water and flooding his four-wheeler out ) turns to me and says "watch this, I am gonna do something smart here". And ends up on his side in a mud hole about three feet deep, and begins to worry that the cooler on the back might come open and the beer get lost.
What can I say, we have a good time. So after righting him, we begin to go again, when what does "Nemo" do? " Hey watch this .... ". And yes ladies and gentlemen on his side again. I have to honestly say that if it wasnt for the beer, we would probably be dead, or seriously injured. Of course this is the guy, a week after getting this new $5000 ATV, sinks it in a hole and when he takes it back to Honda to have it fixed under his warranty ..... they tell him " Honda doesnt make boats, or submarines". But they fixed it anyhow.
So, all in all it was a good night up to the drive home. So once again sorry if I offended anyone..
