So you remember that South Korean scientist who got busted for lying about his stem cell experiments? He claimed he'd successfully cloned human embryos, and everyone got all excited, and then they found out he was lying and he got in all sorts of trouble and disappointed everyone who'd been hoping for stem cell-based medical treatments and whatnot? Well, the review committee that's going through his lab books has found that, instead, he actually created a new stem cell line from unfertilized eggs.

Yeah. That's right. He induced parthenogenesis in human oocytes, then lied to say he'd done something else less awesome.
